Queer University Basel (or shorter: QUB) is a student association at the University of Basel whose purpose is to be a meeting forum for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersexual and queer students and their friends and colleagues too! (Yes we are heterofriendly!)
A non exhaustive list of QUB activities comprises:
- meeting for after work drinks,
- going to the cinema
- going for a hike or velo-tour
- sports
- discussion evenings
- defending LGBTIQ interests/equality of treatment on campus
- going out
- exchanging ideas and advice about university life and life as a queer person
…and much more.
QUB also entertains this WordPress blog where news, events, opinion pieces and descriptive articles are posted from time to time. All members of QUB may participate in the writing and shaping of this blog.
